William Keathley came to Pike Co, Kentucky, about 1800. His two sons, Simpkins and Henry Sevier, both fathered families whose descendants are extant today. It is claimed that William was born in North Carolina in 1775, and married an Indian woman. Neither supposition has been documented, and absolutely nothing else is known about William. It is very likely that there is a connection between the North Carolina families of William and John, but that has not been proved.

Henry Sevier Keathley is buried in Iron County, MO.

Although there are a number of people who maintain records on these families, few of them seem to have a presence on the Internet. A notable exception is Bob Wieking who is currently the best reference for the families of William Keathley.
